Alzheimer’s patients served chocolates

Recently I read of a nursing home that is caring for Alzheimer’s patients with love, attention and plenty of chocolate.

Located in Phoenix AZ, Beatitudes care facility  made headlines by letting love and respect for the elderly rule their care giving.

Each Alzheimer’s patient is given the freedom to eat, bath, sleep and even eat as much chocolate as he or she wants. A little ‘schnaps’ before bedtime is also given, if that is what brings comfort.

When I read about Beatitudes care home, I was impressed.

Today January 5th, 2011, Ted Williams was offered a job with Cleveland Cavaliers. Quicken Loans also offered to pay a mortgage on a new home!

He has had numerous other offers and his life has changed totally in 24 hours.
